Today's XKCD Comic Is A Work of Art

Entitled "Click and Drag", the latest XKCD comic is a window of sorts into a comic world that must have taken years to complete. You explore it, of course, by clicking and dragging it around.

It truly is remarkable.

If you'd like, someone created a Google Maps-like render of the whole comic — doesn't seem to be working all too well though.

I'm just curious how today was chosen as the release day for all the hard work. Must be pretty crazy to publish something like that...
