The Watch
Happenings this past week.
- Microsoft's Surface announced
- Put This On episode 3 airs
I particularly liked this one. - The new IFTTT is revealed
Can't say I use IFTTT for very much, but for the things that I do use it for it's truly fantastic. And this new update makes it even more fantastic. - Scam School Book 2 released
- New YouTube design unveiled
Does look to be better than the current one. But it was hard to be any worse. The current one sucks. - TextExpander 4 is released
And is no longer in the Mac App Store. - Launch Center Pro is released
It's much better than the original version of the app. And it is not a free update. In fact, it's $2.99 — and only for a limited time. Is it worth the price, though? Without a doubt. - Tweetbot for Mac teased
Let's not go too crazy… Oh, hell. Go crazy.
Gems in the Rough
The best links, sites, videos, and things you should see from this past week.
- Steve Jobs vs. Bill Gates
Another "Epic Rap Battle of History". And this one may well be my favorite. - An interview with Adam Savage
Of MythBusters fame. But you knew that already. And it's a good interview, too. - "Noisy" wallpaper by Kyle Gray
Another great wallpaper from Mr. Gray. It's the one that I am currently using on my iPhone. - Teaser trailer for Monster's University
Looks like this is going to be a good movie. Coming next summer. - Apple's new iPad commercial "Do It All"
- The perfect iTunes equalizer setting
This is indeed a very old link, but it came up again this week and it's imperative that every geek know about this. - Unknowing Agreement
A very interesting point. - Bluelounge
A great Mac accessory site that I found this week. - The 2-Minute Rule
Showed me once again that there is still much to GTD that I do not know about. And I really think this 2-Minute rule thing is going to help me. - How to pronounce Uranus
I love C.G.P. Grey.
