Phineas and Ferb

A good cartoon is a staple of TV watching. And Phineas and Ferb is a great one.

Yes, it is on Disney Channel. But before you think I've lost it, give it a shot. Indeed, Phineas and Ferb is without question the only show that Disney Channel should ever actually air. It's fantastic. It's funny, wonderfully clever, incredibly witty, and it actually makes you laugh. It's sort of like Family Guy for kids. Except what that really means is that it can make you laugh without being crude. (Don't get me wrong, Family Guy is hysterical too). Phineas and Ferb is visually a kids' show, but the dialogue is written for, and by, people with a sharp sense of humor.

You're probably still a bit skeptical. That's okay. Trust me. Give it a shot. Look, even Wired wrote an article about it.

I'm not saying that you have to DVR the thing, nor even that every single episode is as good as the best ones are. But I am without a doubt saying that it's practically your duty as a geek to see a few episodes of what could just be the greatest "family" show ever created.
