Must-Watch Movies List #2
/There are some movies that every geek should see. These are the movies that you need to add to the top of your Netflix queue (or whatever list you keep) if you have not yet seen them. Here are a few of those movies (and here is last month's list)…
1. Dr. Strangelove
An insane general starts a process to nuclear holocaust that a war room of politicians and generals frantically try to stop.
Funny, iconic, and truly classic Peter Sellers. A Kubrick classic as well.
TGC Rating: A-
2. Shutter Island
Drama set in 1954, U.S. Marshal Teddy Daniels is investigating the disappearance of a murderess who escaped from a hospital for the criminally insane and is presumed to be hiding nearby.
Martin Scorsese directs this incredible movie starring Leanordo DiCaprio.
TGC Rating: A+
3. Saving Private Ryan
Following the Normandy Landings, a group of US soldiers go behind enemy lines to retrieve a paratrooper whose brothers have been killed in action.
Tom Hanks at his best. The opening 25 minutes or so are amongst the most iconic in all of film history.
TGC Rating: A+
