Sell Your Laptop to iFixit — And say goodbye to Ebay?

Sick of dealing with Ebay and Craiglist? This may be the thing for you. Doesn't really seem to be too well known, but the work the iFixit guys do in general is stellar, so one would assume they know what they're doing when they quote you a price on your laptop.

Speaking of, it takes them a bit of time to give you that quote. I submitted my old MacBook to them at the end of last week and have yet to hear back from them. (And speaking of that, iFixit only accepts laptops. No iMacs or such as of now.) If they do offer a decent price you'd never have to deal with Ebay again. Just box it up and ship your computer to iFixit. Far cleaner. Again, though, that's assuming they give a good price — which, judging from most other computer recycling places, they may well not. But we shall see. Expect some follow-up here.
