Geek Poll: Full-screen Apps

With Lion, and now Mountain Lion, Apple added the ability to use Mac apps in full-screen mode. They don't quite work exactly like you'd expect though, throwing themselves into their own space and hiding the Dock and menubar as well as other elements of the window sometimes too (like the Bookmarks Bar in Safari). On the other hand, it is nice to be able to use every last bit of screen real estate to see whatever it is you want to be seeing. So, do you use the full-screen mode on your Mac?
