You probably have quite a collection of RSS subscriptions that you check on a daily basis, but there are some websites that you should be checking just as often as well. Digg died and came back better than ever. Neat design, and is a legitimately great source for interesting news.

A constantly updated collection of the best videos on the web.

YouTube

All of your geeky entertainment news.

Evening Edition

A really great way to stay up-to-date on the all of the latest news. It tends to focus around politics, but in general it's a daily recap of all the absolute biggest headlines. It's really quite good.
