Alton Brown on Twitter

After a long while of trying to fight it, Alton Brown is now on Twitter:

Alton Brown of Food Network had strong feelings against Twitter, but an even greater aversion to Facebook. When his agent demanded he choose one, he picked what he felt was the lesser of two evils and began tweeting.

He's just a fantastic TV personality and I've loved his show Good Eats for years. And I've been wanting him to join Twitter for as long as it's been around. Apparently I missed when he actually joined, but I'm sure following him now.

Of course, Mr. Brown isn't using Twitter like the rest of the world. Instead, he's using sticky notes:

To spice up his twittering, he began hand-writing notes, then posting pictures of them. Sometimes he’d doodle a message in Morse code. Or draw a sketch. Or set half of a paper message on fire, then tweet a photo of the remnants.

Classic Alton Brown. That's why we love him. Go ahead and follow him.
